To Relive Every Day

I was just scanning my blog and realized for the millionth time how much I miss all seven of my children home.  I hate them being away and anywhere but home and all of us together. 

I miss them in the deepest parts of my heart.  How grateful I am that the Lord entrusted them in my care, but oh how I miss them home with me.  

I am so thankful I have so many memories written down.  I wish I had every day written down.  What a treasure it would be to sit down and just relive every day of their lives all over again and again.

School Security Measures for Safe Learning Environments CNN reports that there were 23 school shootings in the first five months of 2018 .   In each of these incidents, at least one person was shot excluding the gunman.   Seeing this fact rattled me to my core.   I thought about my children, how they were once in schools similar to Parkland and Sandy Hook and Santa Fe.   I had to understand how schools were trying to combat this.   America’s mass shooting incidence rate has many layered causes, so I wanted to look specifically at the schools. Little Kids And Their Words

Cute things my little boys said today: 9/12/2015 I'm very busy getting my nursing degree.  I want to write down one thing each that my kids say or do every day.  I don't want to forget these precious years even though I'm so busy. Today Ryan asked Brett, "Dad, the next time you go on a spy mission, can I go with you?"  Then he said, "Austin, I've been to Dad's spy shack, and seen all his guns up stairs."  He and Eathyn really think Brett's a spy.  He's their super hero.  Ryan is so sweet to me.  He treats me like I'm a precious jewel.   Eathyn and Ryan repeat themselves like little broken records, we are all trying to get them to stop. Today, Brett and I started our day off at the gym. We did legs today.  We hate leg day!!!
